Following our submissions (with your supporting I&AP’s) to the Department of Environment, Forestry, and Fisheries (DEFF), the DEFF have suspended all decisions pertaining to the requested Environmental Authorisation Amendment application.

The DEFF have instructed Rand Water Board to start the application from the beginning due to numerous flaws and errors in their submission.
The Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) has been prohibited from any further submissions in this regard, and a new EAP needs to be appointed by RWB
.
Obviously this now delays the potential impact on Woodhill until such time as RWB proceed.

We have requested a meeting with RWB to determine if there is common ground we can agree on and minimise the impact for all concerned.
