We kindly wish to bring to your attention an important public notice from Mr. Johann Mettler, City Manager of the City of Tshwane.

The Fourth Supplementary Valuation Roll for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025 is now open for public inspection and objections from 25 June to 15 August 2025.

This process forms part of the legal requirements under the Municipal Property Rates Act (Act 6 of 2004) and gives all property owners and interested parties the opportunity to review their property valuations and if necessary – lodge an objection.

Key Details:

• The valuation roll can be inspected at the City of Tshwane offices (listed on the City’s website) or online at:  http://propertyvaluations.tshwane.gov.za
• Objections must relate to a specific property – general objections to the roll are not permitted.
• The prescribed objection forms are available online or at the City of Tshwane offices.
• All objections must be submitted no later than Friday, 15 August 2025 at 12h00.
• Late submissions will not be considered.

Please note that lodging an objection does not exempt you from paying property rates by the due date.
