We are pleased to announce the implementation of Tagmarshal, a GPS-based pace-of-play management system, aimed at enhancing your overall golfing experience at Woodhill.

What is Tagmarshal?
Tagmarshal enables us to closely monitor the pace of play for each group on the course. It provides real-time insights to both the Pro Shop and on-course Marshals, allowing for proactive and informed pace management.

Implementation Phases:

• Phase 1: GPS devices have already been installed in all Woodhill golf carts.
• Phase 2: GPS units will now also be issued to every 4-ball (or group size) playing at Woodhill, regardless of whether players are walking or using carts.

Benefits to You as a Player:

• Allows accurate tracking of pace for all groups, identifying delays and their causes.
• Differentiates between walking groups and cart users, as well as between 4-balls, 3-balls, 2-balls, and solo players.
• Helps Marshals to offer fair and informed assistance—for example, identifying when a group has delayed due to an extended ball search, rather than slow play in general.
• Supports smoother play and a better experience for everyone on the course.
